Come with us to discover the beautiful monuments of our city with our Free Tour Fundamental Salamanca!

We will start at Plaza del Poeta Iglesias, where we will make a small historical introduction to the city, and quickly we will enter the unique Plaza Mayor.

We will walk through the wonderful historic center of Salamanca to delight ourselves with the Casa de las Conchas and the Clerecía.

We will immerse ourselves in our University’s eight centuries of history, with the explanation of its Main Facade, the Patio de Escuelas Mayores y Menores and el Cielo de Salamanca.

We will see the 2 Cathedrals, and both will fascinate you with their beauty and history.

We will finish the visit next to the imposing Roman Bridge.

The tour has a free price. That means that there is no price set in advance. Instead, at the end of the tour, you can give the guide the amount you consider appropiate.

This way we can adapt to all budgets, and you can be sure that you will be satisfied with the route, since the price you pay depends on your satisfaction.

Booking ticket: we will send you an email with all the booking information, but you do not need to show anything to the guide at the beginning of the route.

Meeting point

This route begins in the Plaza del Poeta Iglesias, next to the statue of Churriguera y Conde Francos (a few meters away from the Plaza Mayor). In the booking email we will attach a photo of the exact meeting point.

If it is not going to be possible for you to join the free walking tour, we kindly ask you to cancel it so as not to leave the guide waiting. In the booking confirmation email you will have a link to cancel it or make changes.
